In memory of the late, great, Notorious B.I.G.'s birthday, Configa releases the first single off his forthcoming remix project, entitled "Boombapology". The track is a remix of Biggie's "Friend of Mine", with a sublime sprinkling of Biz Markie from his track "Just a Friend". The remix has more in common with funk than hip-hop, which is a vastly different style for the renowned boom-bap producer. The single release coincides with a stunning video edited by his long time collaborator, Nick Light, using "Notorious" as the source footage.

The full "Boombapology" album will drop on Configa's own birthday, JULY 7th. It will initially be a Bandcamp only release. Pre-Order will start June 7th.
